ONLINE BACHELOR OF SCIENCE IN CRIMINAL JUSTICE

Program Objective: To prepare you for a dynamic career preserving the public’s trust.

Program Description: Develop the technical abilities and educational background needed to become a whole professional in a variety of public service settings. This program includes three applied concentration tracks:

  • Correctional Counseling
  • Emergency Management & Homeland Security
  • Law Enforcement

Program Outcomes: Upon graduation, you will receive a Bachelor’s degree and be prepared to enter a career in public, private, and nonprofit sectors of law enforcement, security management, and investigation.

The Bachelor of Science in Criminal Justice degree is not designed to fulfill the educational requirements for any professional credential, such as a police officer certification. Professional credentials also have other requirements outside of education. Law enforcement and other public safety positions often require testing, specialized trainings, background checks, and more. Job requirements also vary by jurisdiction, involving the local, state, or national levels.
