Master of Public Administration

ONLINE MASTER OF PUBLIC ADMINISTRATION

Program Objective: To help you become a more knowledgeable, forward-thinking professional.

Program Description: Unlike other online MPA programs that focus almost exclusively on the public sector management, our curriculum integrates private sector and business approaches using a unique combination of public administration and business courses to help you improve your executive administration, management, organizational, and financial skills and take your career to the next level.  For students interested in Emergency Management and Homeland Security careers, we offer a 9-credit concentration with courses in leadership, cybersecurity and the role of intelligence.

Through practical coursework, you will learn to:

  • Analyze public policy formulation, interactions, implications and avenues of impact
  • Identify, analyze, evaluate and implement research-based public administration practices
  • Demonstrate ethical leadership and management skills
  • Apply principles of finance to public and nonprofit operations
  • Formulate and implement new or expanded government/nonprofit services and programs, and consolidate/eliminate underperforming or obsolete programs and services

Program Outcomes: Upon graduation, you will receive a Master’s degree and be prepared to make a real and immediate difference in your organization.
