If you have a head for numbers and a desire to learn about opportunities in the fields of accounting, auditing, and tax law, pursue, an Associate of Science in Accounting could be for you. This program is designed to offer you a thorough understanding of essential accounting principles through courses for:
- Financial Accounting
- Principles of Finance
- Macroeconomics
- Managerial Accounting
- And more!
During your coursework, you will have the opportunity to gain skills essential for accounting, including how to:
- Analyze, record, and interpret financial information
- Apply basic concepts of business — management, finance, economics, etc.
- Communicate professionally and effectively
ACBSP Programmatically Accredited
The Associate of Science in Accounting is programmatically accredited by the Accreditation Council for Business Schools and Programs (ACBSP).
Note
The Associate of Science in Accounting program is not designed to fulfill Certified Public Accountant (CPA) licensure requirements in an individual state; however, the program may be used to partially fulfill licensure requirements. Post University assists in researching and providing information regarding licensure; however, each state has different requirements for such licensure outside of the required education. Such state requirements may include licensure exams, background checks, certain work experience, and more. It is ultimately the responsibility of each student to manage their own licensure process and to ensure that all requirements are met in order for the student to obtain licensure. Undergraduate Certificate in Accounting (Post-Baccalaureate)

Designed to provide flexible accounting training in federal income taxes, accounting information systems, and auditing, this certificate program offers undergraduate-level curricula over the essentials and principles of accounting. In it, you will have the opportunity to enhance your education by developing relevant skills in accounting. Coursework covers:
- Financial accounting
- Managerial accounting
- Cost accounting
- Federal income taxes
- And more!
During your coursework, you will have the opportunity to learn what it takes to apply practical accounting principles and concepts to modern business, including:
- Accounting — from accounting theory to preparing financial statements
- Auditing — applying relevant professionals standards, such as GAAP and IFRS

- Managerial & Cost Accounting — develop and evaluate accounting and business information
Students who wish to enroll in this certificate program are required to have a bachelor’s degree.
